- NO WIRELESS AT HOME (yes i know fucking pathetic right)
- Had an awesome birthday, and looking forward to the awesomess b'day present in 3 DAYS time! =)
- Been pretty busy with work and other stuff that i decided i must do something about all my commitments real quick if not gf might just decide that she had enough of it. hmmm.

I think blogging might not be my thing afterall. I'm diagnosed with Permanent Writers Block Syndrome. Pretty severe. hmmm. What else... let's see. Yes i got hit by a taxi while weaving thru the jam (my fault), nearly skid at the expressway, nearly crash into this mother cb ah beng driver, and the rain is totally not helping at all. With that said, i decided that i wanna get a scrambler hahahahaha. It looks damn fun. I wanna do the dirt tracks and shit. haha. But i guess mum and gf might have something to say to this.

This morning girlfriend asked me: "So what's your birthday wish for this year?" I paused for awhile, and the only thing that came to my mind was,

I NEED MORE MONEY.

hmmm last year i had 101 things that i wanna do on my birthday, like getting a tattoo, signing up for bike lessons, getting a vespa, yada yada yada.

This year, i only want more money.

Last year i was anticipating and looking forward to a start of something different, the beginning of a new chapter in my life.

This year, i'm looking forward to the beginning of October be'cos payday's coming.

maybe it's be'cos i've accomplished almost everything that i've listed out.

So what's my wish for this year?

i want to be alive.

Bless my mum, family, Girlfriend, bros, friends and everyone around me with good health. We're really lucky that we're safe and sound here in this lil dot we call home be'cos people near us are suffering and dying from all the horrible disasters. God bless the people in the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Samoa and those countries that are suffering from the aftermath of the quakes or typhoon.

We should really be thankful that we're still alive.

i figured changes might not be that bad afterall. I'm loving my new haircut, short and neat. hmmm tml is my last day off before the start of internship. hopefully time at work would pass by as fast as how time flew by with this photo.

SCHOOL"S OVER BITCHES! hahaha. okay if i don't fail any module, then poly is officially over for me, cept for internship of cos. time really flew by so quickly, i still remember the first day of school when me and amber went to school tgt, all hype up about meeting new friends and learning new stuff, hmmm okay not the learning part but you know, just the exciting poly life that awaits us.

then i met this group of awesome friends: paige, josh, mel, sam, aster, lyeee, hz and the rest that made yr 1 so freaking fun. then came ver, eunice, marv, dinesh, tim, hannah, rach and the rest of the party crazy ppl that made the nights soooo enjoyable. of cos not forgetting that special girl that had given me so much joy and laughter =) GO SSC! hahaha. even though im kinda glad that school's over, i'm soo gonna missed the fun times.

oh well, life's like a broken record, it nv stops. i'm just glad God gave me such an unforgettable poly life.

Baby, if you are reading this, i just wanna let you know that i'm missing you dearly =)

School's gonna be over in less a week! technically. minus the exam and internship of cause. 3 yrs of poly life really flew by real quickly. The past few sat have been DAMN AWESOME! drinks, partying, laughter and so much fun. cant wait for alan's chalet this fri and marv, hannah, rachael's birthday party celebration on sat, plus hannah's party next week. If only i don have to work on the weekends. hmmm. but, then again if i dont work, i wont have enough yusof to party with man. Life's a bitch huh.

There are certain things money can't buy. This, for instance, is priceless. Years of training under the hot sun, mahjong-ing, gambling, drinking, running, fighting, bitching, shopping and everything else.

I love you guys. You guys have always been there for me, as well as for one another throughout these years. we might not have won the gold medal this year, but we have gained so much more. Those valuable memories we shared during training, after training, supper and so much more that i'm damn lazy to mention but you guys get my drift right?

From the bottom of my heart, thanks guys for coming together this year and we did put up a good fight. I'm sure we all know that there will not be a second chance like this anymore. Many of you stayed on because of one another and sometimes we shouldn't be too selfish sometimes. no matter what, we'll still stick together right guys? =)

flu is really irritating. you know that kind of feeling when your mucus just keeps running down like Niagara falls and when toilet rolls becomes your only true friend? just when it finally decides to take a break from running, cough came along. nice.

that aside, life's been really great. other then the fact that my wallet is running dry and i might have to pump vegetable oil instead of petrol next week, life's been turning out really well. Sx took the right turn at the cross road and managed to secure an awesome job with a even better salary! this week has been rather fulfilling. been training pretty hard and hopefully it'll pay off.

on another side note, i figured some people will and shall always be a loser no matter how hard they try. i'm NOT being petty here, but i strongly abide by my principles. Like how my dad told me when i was young that we should not let others bully us, but we shouldn't bully others too. if you wanna pick a match, the least you could do is to choose the right opponent for you. don't overestimate yourself by choosing the wrong opponent cause you'll end up looking like the loser you already are.

here's a tip how, first of all, take a good hard look of yourself in the mirror, then judge whether you stand even the slightest chance to emerge the winner. if you can't judge properly, then do yourself a favour by getting someone else to judge for you. it's better than looking like a clown right? next, if you can't win upfront and decides to try the bitching behind the back tactic, then the least you could have done, i repeat, the least you could have done is to choose the right person to bitch to. and fyi, she's totally out of your league. even if she's not my good friend, you'll still stand no chance at all dude. As i mentioned earlier, always apply rule number one, take a good look of yourself in the mirror cause sometimes it'll really do you a huge favour. At least you won't be talked about as that damn off guy.

i might sound a lil arrogant here but hey i thank God for everything that he has given me. at least i can still look into the mirror and feel good about what is reflected. I can't say the same thing for you though. no no. i think you'll feel the same too! but still as i mentioned previously, if you can't judge properly, get someone else to do it for you. that should be able to clear the air for you.

and how many of you really believe that in order for a guy to "become" a man, he must go through NS first? that's bull really. how many of you had friends that are in the army, or have been through army and still they're total wimps? that's how i concluded that no matter how hard a person try, some are just meant to be a loser. i bet my grandma can bench more weights than your shaved head.

sometimes i really hate to accept the fact that i may never be as good as before, or even half of it. i remembered how i felt two years ago in June. full of anticipation of my poly basketball days. things nv went smoothly i guess. after i tore my ligament, something tells me that i'll nv be the same again. I read countless of articles online, watched dozens of videos of those athletes that eventually made it back, and those that gave up halfway. i went physio diligently every week in hope of recovery but after four more cases of my knee giving way i decided its time for me to go for surgery.

9 more months of agony and anticipation passed by as i sat on the bench and watched wrs doing pretty well in last year's youth cup, team np playing ivp, polite all that. honestly, the feeling suck balls. but you know what's worse, when friends and teammates kept assuring me that all i need is more time and my knee will be better and soon i'll be playing like before.

time, time, time. i had enough time. No progress so far and it's really pissing me off. i swear i'm going to make this 3 months happen. if not, i'll change my surname. i swear.

i've finally realise the importance of waking up on a good note. i woke up ytd morning all grouchy and totally reluctant to get off the bed, then everything kinda followed. I waited for damnn mother long for the bus, and i overslept till the bus passed 6th avenue. For the record, i've never overslept on my way to school before. no matter how sound asleep i am on the bus, i will always jump up on time for the stop. maybe it's because my immortal by evanescence is a damn good snooze song.

Then i hurry across the bridge to the next busstop only to miss the first 74. then when i sat down, 151 zoom passed, next i saw 154 which i DID flag down and the mother uncle just look at me while passing by the bus stop and shook his head. WTF. do i look like a freaking ghost or some shit? in broad day light? yes i missed ALL 3 buses to school and because im left with 5 freaking mins to 10, i took a cab.

next, i sat my sorry ass down at the gym from freaking 1-9 trying to do some notes but i couldn't stay focus. okay rest of all is not impt anymore. so fellows, pls remember the importance of waking up on a good note so that the rest of the day will turn out well for you. i did today. even though i'm woken up by a lovely morning call, i'm not pissed! i can totally feel the positive aura around me now =)

And let's say you really blew it and couldn't even managed to touch the ball at all. At the end of the day, who is more disappointed? will it be you, or the fans that came and watched you play? are you accountable for how other people are feeling? if that's the case, won't life be nothing more but disappointment and misery? If we have to address to the future uncertainties and possibilities now, what do we have to look for in the future? But if we're too concern about all this, won't we live our life in vain? all the hating but where is the love? the love for the game, the love for life, the love for a child.

What if the batter have a 4th chance to hit the ball? will he be able to do it? we never know do we since we can't change the rules of the game. That's why i say,

I can't deny the cold hard facts of life. We're at this crossroad now which a moment of folly or an act of impulse might hinder or worse, change our initial route entirely. That's when everything becomes slightly complicating. See, we could always take the easy way out in life. Run. I totally agree that if we don't jump into the pool, we won't get drown. Then again, we lost an opportunity to swim. And i love swimming. Point is, i don't want to be sitting somewhere ten years down the road and wonder what might have been. That is why i might have been a little irritatingly persistent. I apologize for that.

We all have doubts. (i learnt it from the movie) That is why conflicts occur. You have yours, and i certainly have mine. Maybe that's why i'm always certain that something which seem to be so wrong, might turn out to be right after all.

I'm trying to find the right kind of phrase to explain this love foolosophy, but for now, life is wonderful. There are 1000 things to be done and i'll do anything to fulfill them. You and i both know that there are no perfect remedy for this beautiful mess. We're only human. Hence, i'm counting my lucky stars now and hopefully, everything will unfold and by then there will be no stopping us.

Happy new year people! all the best for '09!

NYE was awesome! went drinking with my buddies at clarke quay and we kinda just pub hop ard. its the best way ever to welcome the new year! here's the photos people and u guys can quit bugging me for them alr. haha.

that pretty much sums up the night. anyway, reality finally checks in. 2 more days to school and i haven't done anything yet. guess i'll be having another 2 sleepless nights now considering im using one now to update blog.

On another side note, i believe 2009 will be a much better year than '08! i started mine off with great sashimi and fried chicken, as well as the best company ever =) what more can i ask for? i'm all hype up now and excited to know what '09 has install for me! cheerios people and enjoy the last weekend before school starts again! adios!

Time really flies! i'm back from the road trip to Malaysia! this time we went KL first, then Genting and lastly Maleka. Malaysia is having their year end sales people! shop shop shop. its been a long time since we went for a road trip together and i'm really glad we did. We went to some of the places that we used to go to when i was younger, and some of them are still there, but sadly some of em are long gone. im damn lazy to type la i'll just post the photos haha.

IM SO FREAKING BORED AT WORK NOW. normally its not so bad but now they banned headphones = no movies = freaking nth to do !!

okay so i went to trim my hair ytd right then the hairstylist told me that my parting is actually the reverse direction of my hair roots. which means that for the past 4 years i have been styling it the wrong direction, and also for the past 4 years NO FREAKING hairstylist actually realise or bother to tell me at all. arghhh. so right now my fringe looks linda odd, hopefully after my hair gets used to it the parting will be better. haha. counting down 5 more freaking hours to go then im heading over to enghui house to catch the Suns Vs Portland! wooo! happy weekends people! =)

So in my attempt to stop nodding off from work, i've decided to post some photos from ytd's Zoukout! I didn't sleep for one single hour and here i am at work as usual. So for today's post, im gonna narrate the entire night, okay maybe 1/3 of it. haha. Zoukout was awesome! except for the seriously overpriced tickets and drinks. Make some new friends/ seniors to be exact and we had lots of fun! Firstly, we met up with Aster, paige and josh to go over to silosa together.

So we reached siloso around 10 and met up with Dinesh and his friends. He brought like 3 bottles i think so we sat outside the zoukout area and played I Have Never, which btw is a damn quick way of getting high if you have done alot of shit before haha. So by the time we finished all the drinks, everyone is pretty much like this.

then we saw this wasted dude lying on the sand. and his very helpful friends took this photo for us.

And we went to try the trampoline Bungee jumping thingy which is freaking fun! but it may not be a good choice if you're high on alcohol and your stomach is really empty. my heart was pumping so fast its like i just ran 2.4.

yup so that's pretty much the summary. for the rest of the photos, including those that i look horrendous because of my hair, i'll tagged the rest of you guys in FB. And of cause i kept my word about what happened in zoukout stays in zoukout.

the weather is really clammy nowadays. many people are falling sick. i woke up last night shivering and i had to wear socks, along with my boxer and sweater which made me look really retarded. i've been thinking about alot of things lately. im not usually the emo type of person, but i don't know maybe its because the year is coming to an end and looking back 2008, what have i achieved?

this whole year i think i've neglected my studies, family for others. i spent my time working, gyming and what not. you know we could stop playing, studying, shopping and everything else, but the one thing we can't stop is time. when was the last time you spent time with your grams? or the last time you went on a vacation with your family? the last time you told your mum or dad i love you? you know what they say about regrets? it only makes you old and bitterness will only poison the people around you. the single regret that i have is i didnt spent enough time with my grandma when she's still around. I really missed her alot. i was sitting in the library ytd listening to Eric Clapton's Cd. Then "tears in heaven" started playing. i was captivated by this song. He wrote this song in 1991 when his 4-year old son died. He fell from the window of a 53 storey building. this song really touched me and i could only imagine the pain he felt at that point of time. i wonder if there really is a heaven? if there is, im sure my grandma will be there, looking down and missing us, just like we missed her so much. i never had a chance to tell her how much i love her, but im sure when the day comes when i finally get to see her again, she will be there holding my hands in heaven.

i came across this quote which i find really meaningful.

nothing will ever stop for you that's for sure. that's why I've came up with my resolution for 2009. From today onwards, i'm not going to take anything for granted. I will pursuit it like its the last piece of meat left in the world. For everything and anything. you know one day 20 years down the road you might be thinking about what if and what might have happened if you have chosen the other alternative, well i wanna look back and smile and say "i've made the right decision."

For now, i'm just gonna snuggle in my comfortable bed and watch more one tree hill and pray that my fever and flu will be gone by tml so that i can continue to enjoy the rest of 2008! cheerios people and remember to make your new year resolutions! nothing is ever too late! =)

Speechless. that's how i felt when i chance upon what i wasn't meant to see. that struck me as to how fast a person changes, whatever bullshit that was said and done meant nothing in a split second. Today shall be day 1 of my training. Just came back from a run. After hearing all the comments, i know its time i should start training back again. I've lost my speed, explosive power, agility, and i'm not even back to half of my fitness level. From today onwards, and i mean it, i shall train harder and control my diet. HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY TO ME!

thank you all that wish me on that day! i'm 3 days late for updating because i was waiting for all the photos. aite shall walk you guys through my lovely 18 birthday. firstly, an advance birthday dinner with my wonderful family. i swear we ate alot. dinner at crystal jade then ice cream waffles at Gelare. then shop ard and mum bought me a wallet. love it so much. thank you mummy! i love you!

Also, baby gave me an advance present. It's a iLuv for my room and i totally love it! thanks once again baby!

then at midnight, we had a lil cake session with family plus baby and enghui.

after that, went for lunch with baby at cwp before meeting the rest.

sadly baby didnt appear in the above photos because all were badly taken. anyho,meet the guys and we went tgt to get my tattoo! haha. its exactly what i had in mind and i love it ! too bad eileen didnt get the one she wanted and hers is really costly compared to mine.

One tree hill is a damn nice show! been watching it for the past few days when im working. (still watching it now waiting for it to load haha) one of the reason it's so nice is becos its abt bball. reminds me of the old times when bball used to be a huge part of my life. As quoted from one of the episode, " nothing beats walking into the gym every game day and playing in front of a huge crowd, all the cheering and clapping" yeah i missed it all.

so after dinner today i went to shoot some hoops. after a while i saw this Filipino dude shooting at the other end. then i did something real dumb i walk up and ask whether he wanna play one on one with me. he's ard my height but bigger and buffer. and so at first it's quite a close fight but i've to admit i got whacked in the later part. been soooo long since i play competitive 1 on 1, excluding those with enghui in canvas shoe, and this guy knows nth abt me so he gave it all. it was fun, and he was good. after awhile he called a timeout as both of us are obviously short of breath. haha. then we sat down and had a lil chat and you know what, he used to play in the Philippine professional league. damn. now ive got an excuse. haha. he told me he realise when we were playing that i was over dependent on my left leg. he could tell i was protecting my right. i realised that too, its tough for me to guard if the person is going my right. and im wary of body contact now too. sets me wondering will i really be ready for ivp.

on a good note, at least i can play now and thank God for that. i found this two pics online and its really cool! for the cat tattoo, not the giant dicks. amazing aint it, how creative ppl are.

Summary of events that happened this past days. haha. first up, shawn's supper night. farewell supper for shawn the last night before he enters army. its 12am ppl and look at the food that they ordered. best way to fatten up haha.

guess what i bought a new bball shoe today! the last bball shoe that i actually paid for it was i think 2 yrs ago? can u imagine how much i love this shoe now! is super nice, although this model quite long alr! haha. and after reflecting when i last bought a shoe, i realise i missed you guys.

okay enough of my shoe now back to serious business. hmmm. how should i begin? maybe with some pics?

hmm. i knew that this day is gonna come sooner or later. but i really didnt expect it to come so soon? or end so soon i supppose. we played together since pri sch, then some of u guys joined in during sec sch. sam, enghui, richard, jj, jf, gy, willard. seniors as well. ah bai, lijun, weiming and wenbing. and so we won our first north zone championship.

remember the times we shared tgt? trg after sch under the hot sun. stinking the entire 912 after trg. ccab trg during hols, lunch after that. trip to melaka. and speech day remember? classic we got punished in front of the whole sch hahah. sat morning at 178. fri, sat, sun night at 515 and 369. youth cup plus aljunied cup. chalet! kaiwei sleeping then we go kajiao haha. and so much more that i cant recall off the top of my head now. the one thing that i regret most is that we didnt take pics last time.

yes and so i asked my physio that day how long more before i can get back to competitive games. and she said if i pass my next biodex test i can proceed to the last stage of the physio and roughly abt 1 and half months more? feeling ecstatic now! cant wait to get back to full trg and games! okay newswriting and advert are really bitchy man. real messed up if u knw what im saying. must nail the exam if not i am gonna repeat im dead sure. but i know i will eventually made it through hahaha!

Sentosa with buddies and dar on fri. the sun was scorching! but im still not roasted. darn it. it was fun but many didnt go. hope the next time more ppl can make it. AND i got stung by a jellyfish ytd! i was like sitting by the seaside and suddenly i felt this sharp pain on my feet. i ran up the shore and check on my feet while feng they all went to find that bastard. haha they chase it up shore. then i killed it with the stick. haha tit for tat. so i ended up being the photographer for the day so that explains the following pics without me in em. haha.

one word. overwhelmed. definitely. when i put on my bball shoe just now, i can feel that sudden adrenaline rush, excitement and familiarity that i once felt. thanks kt for accompanying me just now. even though i cant do lay-ups, crossovers or even sprinting now, im still happy. really happy. thanks God for giving me the opportunity to be on the court once again. i will curb the impatient me and take things slow. i don't wanna ever be injured like this again. once is enough. counting down 4 more months. cheerios!

bored at work as usual and my oh my i have certainly changed over the years. from thin to fat, then back from chubby to lean, and now back to chubby again! gosh. its true that sportsmen changes the most, especially when we stop training. the amount of food we consume don change, but our exercises do. hahaha. hopefully i'll be back in shape by oct! haha i don wanna look chubby for my birthday photos.

gotta go find movies to watch now. so boring! later still gotta go clarke quay to cover the art fest shit for newswriting. damn torturous man its our break and we have to do these shitty assignments.
